Your protection is paramount when we are booking a holiday for you. As a customer of Not Just Travel, you have 5 levels of protection:
1. ATOL protection for all package holidays
2. Supplier Failure Cover for all flight & accommodation bookings
3. Protection offer by your credit card company
4. We are members of ABTA
5. Members of UK's largest independent buying group
To help you understand what these all means we've given you a quick guide below.
ATOL Protection
ATOL protects you from losing your money or being stranded abroad. It does this by carrying out checks on the tour operators and travel organisers it licenses, and requiring them to take part in a financial guarantee scheme managed by the Air Travel Trust (ATT) which provides the funds to protect customers should a firm fail. If a tour operator goes out of business, the CAA will ensure you do not lose the money you paid over, or if you're abroad, we'll arrange for you to finish your holiday and fly home.

ABTA Membership
As members of ABTA we are required to meet very strict requirements and operate within a specific code of conduct. Failure to do so would mean we can not remain members. When you see the ABTA logo you can be assured of quality.

ATOL protection only covers package holidays e.g. a Thomas Cook holiday. What if you were booking a flight and hotel seperately? When you book through us, we will include a special insurance policy which gives you this extra protection. It's called Supplier Failure Cover.
Supplier Failure Cover
This does not replace normal holiday insurance, but it does give financial protection in the event of one of more suppliers of your holiday failing. For example, if you had booked a flight, hotel, airport parking and car hire through us but the flight company ceased trading, you would still get your money back.
You would be able to claim the cost of the flights back from this insurance policy and any additional cost of having to rebook additional flights to carry on your holiday. If you were unable to rebook flights you would be able to claim the cost of cancelling the accommodation etc.
It's important to note that if you book a flight elsewhere and you don't have a similar policy, you would not be able to claim the cost back via any other means. Therefore the SFC policy is very important and a great reassurance to our customers.
Supplier Failure Cover protects all components of the holiday you book through us, but not if you book components with another provider.
UK's Largest Buying Group
We are independent members of the UK's largest buying group for independent travel agents. This gives you an added level of protection. If for any reason we were to cease trading (an unlikely event but a question I'm sure you are asking), all bookings and customers are automatically taken over by the buying group and they continute to provide full support as if nothing had happened.
