Important Information for Anyone Booked with Holidays 4u

 

Holidays 4u has gone into administration with an estimated 12,000 people overseas on holiday. This is obviously very disappointing news for anyone effect and is of great disappointment to many people who are either currently on holiday with GoldTrail Holidays or was due to travel with them. The information provided here will be updated as soon as more information becomes available.

 

If you have booked your holiday through Not Just Travel and you are effected by this we will contact you within the next 24 hours to explain how this effects you and ensure you are rebooked as soon as possible. Please do not panic or stress about this as you will be fully financially protected. We will ensure you are well looked after and do our best to rearrange everything for you.

 

How does the collapse of Holidays 4u effect you?

 

I am currently on holiday with Holidays 4u
Your representative in resort, someone from the CAA, or someone from the local Britsh Consolate will be in contact with you shortly to explain what happens. If you are due to travel shortly the recommendation is to check-in as normal at the airport. This will ensure the airlines, CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) can contact you and knows where you are. It is the responsibility of the CAA to ensure everyone gets home safely. Don't worry - they will get you home.

  

The CAA will now be making arrangements to get everyone home. There may be some delays while they put aircraft in place as often they have to charter special aircraft to do this.

  

I am due to travel in the near future?
If you booked your holiday through us (Not Just Travel) we will contact you to explain all options available to you. Normally full refunds will be made but the process for this will depend on how you paid for the holiday i.e. whether it was on a credit card or other payment method. It can take a little while for refunds to be made as this will need to be agreed with the CAA. Their immediate concern will of course be getting everyone home.

  

Very IMPORTANT:
Not Just Travel was a retail agent for Holidays 4U and is not direct effected by Holidays 4u going into administration. The information on this page is provided to help customer who are directly effected by Holidays 4u going into administration. All other customers of Not Just Travel are not effected by this in any way.

 

Process for Rebooking Your Holiday

Package Holidays:
If you have a package holiday booked with Holidays 4U and have not yet travelled, you have 2 options.

1. Cancel your holiday and claim a full refund from the CAA

2. Rebook your holiday and Claim a full refund from CAA for the original holiday

 

Flight Only / Flight Only with Accommodation Booked Seperately
Check with the travel agent who booked your holiday. We issue supplier failure cover insurance with all of our bookings which means:1

1. You can cancel your holiday and claim a full refund

2. You can rebook your flights and make changes to your accommodation to fit these new flights, claiming up to £1000pp cost.
