Welcome to Beauchamps Hotel

Beauchamps Hotel Hotel Beauchamps tells a story about an imaginative, scholarly arts collector, with a passion for art and travel named Baltazar Beauchamps. The hotel was his private home. His objects and his works have been set out as decoration. The hotel has a Library Lounge, which is adjacent to the lobby, and has a sitting room consisting of a long sofa and two armchairs facing a library with a fireplace. On the shelves, a collection of corals, books and a range of objects (small statues, vases, seashells) give the room a personal and cosy feel. Generous daylight filters through clear blinds, which shelter the view from the exterior of the room. The library lounge also opens onto a small converted courtyard. Multiple languages spoken (French, English, Arabic, German, Spanish). 89 bedrooms, spread across six floors with various decors and categories, bedrooms all have views onto either the rue de Ponthieu or the rue du Colisee or onto a courtyard. The bedrooms are in one of three dominant tones copper, sand or celadon. In the majority of rooms a large fabric reproduction of a Victor Hugo drawing covers a whole wall, behind the bed head. The other walls are cream coloured, complementing the carpet in saffron and khaki tones. A small wooden cupboard, in Chinese coral lacquer waits to hold clothes and valuable accessories (minibar, safe etc).
