Senior Travel Consultant 

Not Just Travel is one of the UK's leading travel companies, with over 14 years of fantastic service, helping clients all over the UK find their perfect holiday. We are currently seeking an experienced “Senior Travel Consultant ” who will be responsible for helping manage our team of Travel Consultants, help increase sales as well as support our office team with operational requirements such as booking processing. 
With business expanding rapidly all across the UK we are seeking an experienced travel consultant, branch manager or travel expert with proven sales development, motivation and training / mentoring skills to join the team supporting office and home based consultants. 
A permanent role, you will be based at head office in Bournemouth, near the airport but be required to visit homeworkers across the country, plus support field based activities such as events. 
As a Senior Travel Consultantyou will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities:
  • Act as front line support to our sales team, assisting and supporting the sales process
  • Providing telephone, web and face to face support
  • Team training
  • Acting as key account manager for top Travel Consultants and support for key clients
  • Supporting the existing operational team with processing of bookings
Senior Travel Consultant remuneration package:
  • Strong basic salary depending on experience
  • Excellent rewards package
  • Benefits include cost price travel and opportunities to travel overseas on educational trips or with work.
  • Hours typically 9-5:30 however some additional weekend or evening work may be required to support field based activities.

Senior Travel Consultant / Sales Trainer skill attributes:
  • You must have a strong sales background from within the travel industry
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Excellent communication, organisational and staff motivation skills.
  • Attention to detail is paramount and the ability to multitask and prioritise is vital.
  • You must have a passion for travel and have experience of working in a travel company.
  • Marketing experience would be advantageous but not essential.
